NEW BUS SERVICE
Local Link Kerry offers a bus service leaving Waterville at 09.00 (every Friday & Saturday) with a return time from Caherciveen to Waterville at 11.35 (every Friday, Saturday & Sunday) There is also a 14.00 bus from Waterville to Killorglin stopping in Caherciveen, Glenbeigh and Killorglin (every Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The buses are timed to meet the Bus Eireann Route 279a to and from Killarney. Cost €5, Under 12 is €2.50 and Free Travel Pass is accepted. GARDEN DAY
This will take place on Sunday 10th July 2016 from 10.00am 4.00pm. Registration is at Halla Pobal from 10.00am- 12.00pm. There are 10 fabulous gardens to visit. All of the proceeds are going to Ballinskelligs Community Care. Come and discover local gardens you may choose to see lush garden exotics and a stunning Hydrangea walk or learn which flowers, shrubs and vegetables grow well in the area. €10, per person and all proceeds go to Ballinskelligs Community Care.
ANIMATION WORKSHOP
A 3 day course in the Art of Animation at the Halla Pobal (Community Centre) Dungeagan, Baile An Sceilg. Day 1: The History, Principles & Techniques of Animation 10.00-3.00pm. Day 2: Preparing an Animation 10.00- 5.00pm (or thereabouts) Day 3 Making a short film 10.00 till you finish. Adults €40 per day. If you attend all three days the last day costs only €20. Under 18s €20 per day. As above last day €10.

3 BEACH CHALLENGE
Just to announce that the Ballinskelligs 3 Beach Challenge is taking place on Sunday, 7th of August 2016. Proceeds from the event will again be in aid of the Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation and Ballinskelligs Community Care. Listen to live music with local artists from 1.00pm and enjoy snacks and refreshments from Café Cois Trá (Beach side Café).

TAI CHI/QI GONG BY BEACH
Tai/Chi/ Qi Gong is said to unite the body, mind and spirit. It can help us be more relaxed and at one with ourselves or any situation we may find ourselves in. The exercises are easy to learn and enjoyable to do. Even a few minutes practise can have an invigorating and rejuvenating effect. Classes are open to all ages and abilities and can even be done seated. Tai Chi classes at Café Cois Trá (Barbara’s) on Tues & Thurs Mornings, from 5th July onward.
