NATIONAL JUNIOR/U23 T&F

The GloHealth National Junior and U23 Track and Field Championships were held in Tullamore on July 2nd. There were a number of fine performances despite adverse weather conditions where some athletes were looking to seal selection for the European Youth Championships and World Junior Athletics Championships with national medals up for grabs.

Kayleigh Cronin impressed in the Throws when she won the U23 Discus with a throw of 41.31m. Well done to our club members who competed in various events throughout the county over the week. Dermot Dineen & Garvin Cronin ran well in the Puck Warriors 5K Series mid week. Well done to Pauline Joseph who completed the Ring Of Kerry Charity Cycle. Best of luck to our Juvenile Athletes who will be competing in the National Track & Field Championships over the coming weeks.
