MARRIAGE

Fr Martin Sheehan P.P. Caherdaniel officiated at the marriage of Denis Pierce, son of Tony and Helena Donnelly and Kathleen Mary daughter of George and Margaret Lyons in Mary Immaculate Church Lohar on Saturday June 25th.

Diarmuid Collins was Best man with Groomsmen Ryan and Jack Dickinson. Teresa lyons was Maid Of Honour with bridesmaids Siobhan Lyons and Sinead O’ Brien. Page Boy and Flower Girls were Aidan Ally and Ava Ga Nun, nephew and nieces of Denis.

The reception was held in the Royal Hotel in Valentia.

We wish the newly weds a long and happy life together.

BUS SERVICE

Local Link Kerry offers a bus service leaving Waterville at 09.00 (every Friday & Saturday) with a return time from Caherciveen to Waterville at 11.35 (every Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

There is also a 14.00 bus from Waterville to Killorglin stopping in Caherciveen, Glenbeigh and Killorglin (every Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The buses are timed to meet the Bus Eireann Route 279a to and from Killarney.

Waterville Early Years Centre is accepting registration for the new preschool year commencing in September 2016. If your child/ children were born between January 2012 and August 2013 they are eligible for the free preschool year this coming September. We are asking all businesses & residents of Waterville get your buildings painted up, and get some flowers out, keep streets outside your own premises swept & clean & lets have OUR village looking glorious, not just for the judges but for ourselves & our tourists & visitors. Weekly Clean Up also every Wednesday Evening at 7pm meeting at Micko’s statue-- all welcome. Many Hands & all that !!!!
