ALL IRELAND U-16 ‘C’ CHAMPIONSH­IP

THE Kerry U-16s got their championsh­ip campaign underway last Saturday against a strong Cavan side in St Brendan’s Park, Birr.

Despite a good showing by the team Kerry lost 4-15 to 3-2. The Kerry girls can take great heart from their second half performanc­e and there is no doubt that there are better things to come for this young team. Camogie Academy

We are delighted to announce that Kerry Camogie are organising a Camogie Academy which is due to place on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 9 and 10 from 10 am to 2.30pm in Tralee with a number of top class coaches, this is for girls aged between 13-16 years. A bus service will be provided with pick ups in Causeway, Kilmoyley, Ardfert, etc.

Cost of Academy €20 which includes bus and camogie t-shirt. We also encourage you to bring along a friend or two to give camogie a try (helmet & hurley will be provided).
