KILLORGLIN ARCHIVES TAPE

Was bought by many people at Killorglin’s Puck Fair. Americans were very interested in the first tragedies of 1916, which was the Ballykissane drowning of three people. In this tape, there’s the Book Launch with Tom Doyle, plus the unveiling of Wall of Rememberance, the Public Stmposium, Kerry 1914 – 1923, and the Historical Walk by DONAL O’Sullivan. Killorglin’s Centenary Commemoration, Easter 1916-2016. A great gift to send to your relations in the States and the world over.

PUCK FAIR

Has come and gone, and what a wonderful festival it was too. The sun was shining, business was good and the people were happy. Many thanks to the organisers and helpers, they did a great job. The goat was great too. Money was no object, there was plenty of it floating around, children had a great time at Birds Bizarre. Every street had something special. Food galore, great stuff, nobody went hungry or thirsty either. As I said, the pubs did great, they can rest on their elbows now till Christmas. One man from up North said he has been coming to Puck since 1961 and he enjoyed it every time. A trouble free Festival and that’s what the Garda got. They were very much on the streets which was a great help too. Roll on Puck Fair 2017. See you all there again..

KILLORGLIN COMHALTAS
