Congratulations to all our athletes who took part in the Community Games National Finals in Athlone at the weekend. Aoife Dwyer came home with a pewter medal-the under-12 mixed distance relay team came fourth. Unfortunately the under-14 boys with Shane and Jack lost out in the final and the under-14 girls team with Rachel Dwyer just missed out in the semi-final. Weekend two of the National Finals is next weekend and sees Aoife Dwyer competing again in athletics in an individual event-under-12 600m along with Brianna O’Sullivan who will be competing in the under-14 100m.
