WHERE TO MEET THE ROSES

AS ever this year’s festival will see twinning arrangemen­ts between many of Tralee’s pubs and the Internatio­nal Rose of Tralee centre’s that will be in town to support the 65 Irish and Internatio­nal Roses taking part in this year’s expanded festival.

Traditiona­l most pubs were twinned with two Roses but with 65 contenders taking part this year several bars have been twinned with up to five Roses. The various Rose Centres and their supporters will base themselves in the bars throughout the festival and over the course of the week the Roses will visit the various pubs they and their supporters have been twinned with. For details of exactly when the Roses will be visiting the various pubs check out the event timetable in this supplement.

In all 21 pubs and hotels have signed up to take part in the twinning and the bars were allotted their respective in a draw last month. One pub will host five Roses, ten pubs will host four and another ten will host two. The following are the 2016 Rose of Tralee Official pub twinning arrangemen­ts.
