THE second International Business Women’s Conference will take place on August 22 in Tralee as part of this years Rose of Tralee Festival.
Hosted by Enterprise Ireland (EI) in conjunction with AIB; the Rose of Tralee International Festival; The Department of The Diaspora and media partner Tatler the event will focus on empowering women to fulfil their ambitions in the business and entrepreneurial arena.
Speakers such as Norah Casey, formerly from Dragons’ Den and Dr Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin – a previous Rose of Tralee winner – will share their experiences and professional insights on themes such as leadership, linking the digital age and entrepreneurship.
“Enterprise Ireland recognises the huge contribution of Irish women in business. Last year we invested in a record number of female-led start-up companies. The International Business Women’s Conference aims to inform and inspire women to embrace business opportunities, leverage the Irish global network and reach their full potential,” said EI CEO Julie Sinnamon.
EI said the conference will present an ideal opportunity to promote and celebrate Irish business success with delegates gaining valuable insights from speakers including CEO Eleanor McEvoy, entrepreneur Madi Sharma and 2015 Rose of Tralee, Elysha Brennan.
