The Kerryman (South Kerry Edition)
Stunning Autumn/Winter collections at fashion extravaganza of the year
IT is renowned as the fashion extravaganza of the year – and an extravaganza is just what it was as over 1500 fashion lovers flocked to the dome for the Rose of Tralee Fashion Show.
Showcasing the indigenous fashion houses of Kerry and beyond, this year’s fashion show unveiled the trends to follow this coming autumn.
The event, orchestrated by the inimitable Celia Holman Lee, showcased some of the biggest names in the high street and designer industry including Aisling Maher, Annbury’s Tralee and Pamela Scott.
Castleisland – known as ‘The Fashion Capital of Kerry’ – once again rose to the occasion with Divas and Dudes Boutique, Hannons, Fashion World and Joi each displaying an incredible selection of occasion wear.
The boutiques of Tralee captured the crowd with quality, style and individuality with Swamp, Rockalilly, Ryles Menswear and Shaws and many more showing the stunning ensembles on offer for any occasion.
Finesse Bridal Listowel and Brides of Glin were the showstoppers of the evening with stunning bridal collections forcing one and all to imagine or reminisce on their own wedding day.
A grand finale saw Tina Griffin, Carol Kennelly, Natalie King, Margaret O Connor, Orlaith Carroll, Caroline Mitchell, Davina Lynch and Marion Murphy Cooney designs take over the catwalk with live music provided by renowned accordion player, Michael O Brien.
