A Food preparation assistant is required in the Ballinskelligs Community Centre, Dungeagan, 19.5 hours per week. Duties to include: helping to prepare and serve meals, clear and clean kitchen and dining room. There will be some secretarial work to include, Typing internet access and answering telephone. This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. A knowledge of the Irish language would be an advantage. HERITAGE WEEK 2016 EVENT

NEW LOCAL LINK BUS SERVICE

Local Link Kerry offers a bus service leaving Waterville at 09.00 (every Friday and Saturday) with a return time from Caherciveen to Waterville at 11.35 (every Friday, Saturday)

There is also a 14.00 bus from Waterville to Killorglin stopping in Caherciveen, Glenbeigh and Killorglin (every Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The buses are timed to meet the Bus Eireann Route 279a to and from Killarney.

ANIMATION WORKSHOP WITH RORY FELLOWES

A three-day course in the art of Animation at the Halla Pobal (Community Centre) Dungeagan, Baile An Sceilg. Day 1: The History, Principles and Techniques of Animation 10 p.m. to 3 p.m. Day 2: Preparing an Animation 10 p.m. to 5 p.m. (or thereabouts) Day three Making a short film 10.00 till you finish.
