GUI Munster Branch ADM

THE Annual Delegates Meeting of the Munster Branch of the Golfing Union of Ireland takes place at the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow on November 29 at 6.30pm.

In compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Union and Bye-Laws of the Branch, each affiliated golf club has the right to submit Notices of Motion for discussion at least 42 days prior to the date for circulation to all Clubs in compliance with Rule 34.3.

Clubs are asked to please ensure that each motion is proposed and seconded, signed off by Club Hon Secretary or Secretary/Manager and includes a rational/motive.

Every motion to be proposed at ADM must be proposed and seconded by two persons entitled to be present and to vote at the meeting and the latest date for receipt of motions is Tuesday, October 18 at 5pm.

Clubs are also asked to submit, in writing, the name of their nominees for positions of Officers (4) and Members of the Provincial Council (17) at least 28 days prior to the date of the Annual Meeting for the attention of Jim Long, Hon Secretary and the latest date for receipt of Nominations is Tuesday, November 1 at 5pm.

The names of all attending delegates have to be submitted in writing and the latest date for receipt of these names is Tuesday, November 15 at 5pm.

Each club is also asked to please check on their voting delegate quota and proxy voting is not allowed.
