MIKE MURPHY CYCLE

A massive thank you to everyone involved in the cycle last weekend. It was a huge success and greatly supported by all you cyclists.

The day was beautiful, the scenery stunning and everyone came home safe, tired but elated. Planning resumes immediatel­y for next years event.

FIRST AID CI=OURSE

First aid including Paediatric 1st aid starting at O Connell Centre Tues. 27th Sept. 9.30am to 12.30pm for 8 weeks. Excellent knowledge and skills to gain and Anne-Marie Lynch makes it very engaging. €75 for the course or if on a social payment, have medical card or were an early school leaver, the course is FREE!. SIVE 5K RUN

Sive Rowing club are holding a 5K run/walk, known as the Sive 5K. First male will receive the Padraig Dineen memorial cup and the first female will be presented with the Niamh O’Sullivan memorial cup.

Starting at the boathouse on the pier at 5:00pm on Saturday 1st October. This is a flat course. Entry fee €10.00. Refreshmen­ts after in Sive boathouse. Contact Padraig 087 2450610
