The following pupils started in Junior Infants on September 1st, 2016 in Kilgarvan Central School Ava Cremin, Patrick Delaney, Lilly Dineen, Ryan Evans, Roisín Foley, Emilie Hanley, Alexander Healy, Niamh Healy, Amy Kelleher, Micheál Kelleher, Cara O’ Sullivan, Mikey O’ Sullivan, John Quill, Ella Riordan. Zoe Cosgrove started in First Class.

KCB COLLECTION

The money collected was forwarded to Kerry County Board. Many thanks for your support. Thanks also to the following who helped out with the collection: Mrs Bridie Dillon, Patrick Teahan, Tim John Healy, John Creedon, Sean Foley, Joann Murphy, Tadgh O’Donoghue and Mary Therese Kelleher.

DEATHS

We extend our Sympathy to the Healy Rae family on the recent death of Tim Healy Rae who passed away in England.

Maurice Mac Donnell, brother of Tom Mac Donnell, Brirchwood, Churchground, Kilgarvan, passed away on August 16th in England. His funeral took place on September 15th. To his wife, son, brother Tom and extended family we extend our deepest Sympathy.

COLLECTION

The annual burial ground collection will be taken up on the weekend of Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2016.

Suicide Prevention: A public meeting will be held at Killarney Heights Hotel (Torc Room) on Thursday 22nd September 7:30pm to 9:30pm to discuss ways for developing a suicide prevention plan in Kerry. Everyone welcome. For more information see www.connectingforlifekerry.ie
