KSV Killorglin win pre-season tournament in Carlow

KEANE’S Supervalu Killorglin are already off to a winning start. Keane’s Supervalu won the pre season National League tournament held in Carlow and beat Titans from Galway in a challenge match held in Killorglin last Sunday on a scoreline of 93 to 70.

Launching their second season in Basketball Ireland National League Keanes Supervalu last Wednesday in Killorglin Sports complex the team hope to take it one step further bringing the title home to the growing basketball community.

A huge turnout on a damp Wednesday night, the crowd got to meet new coach James Weldon, and new Spanish signing Garni Garcia, as well as our returning Twice Golden ball recipient Kev Gray along with all returning panels and growing youth members.

The club are delighted with ongoing support from all the community and businesses. Keane’s Supervalu begin their league campaign on Saturday, October 1 away to Team Kilkenny with their first home game scheduled for the following week October 8 against Kestrels tip off 7.15pm.
