FIRIES COISTE NA NOG: U6, U8 AND U10 BOYS The U8 and U10 boys participated in an invitational match against John Mitchells of Tralee on Sunday, 25th September. Both the U8 and U10 boys fielded enough boys for two matches each per age group. The hardworking Firies boys performed exceptionally in tough conditions. Well done boys on the great performances. Our U8 boys have been completing our GAA Academy Skills book since earlier this year and the practice is certainly paying off. This spirited group will be rewarded and presented medals along with certificates by All-Ireland winning Kerry GAA stars on Thursday, 29th September at 6pm in Pairc Eamonn. Players are asked to be at the pitch at 5:50pm. We would ask the players to bring their skills book with them on Thursday and please wear your club colours. Our final match of the season for the U6s and U8s will take place on Saturday, 1st October against Killarney Legion at home at 10:30am On behalf of the club, we would like to acknowledge the commitment from our hard working coaches and mentors who constantly exhibit great patience, fun and gamesmanship to all the boys and often sacrificed their own personal itineraries all in the name of our juveniles GAA boys. We hope you will continue again next year. U12 BOYS: Our U12 boys put in a super effort on Sunday, 25th September playing away in Beaufort in the East Kerry region. Firies 5-15 Beaufort 3-11 This was a fantastic result by the Firies boys in damp conditions.
