Listowel Celtic out-score MEK in cracker

U-13 DIVISION 2

LISTOWEL Celtic and MEK hit 12 goals between them with the North Kerry side winning 7-5. Eddie Moroney took the match ball with a hat trick, Rocco Sheehan got two and Mark O’Sullivan Rousse the other but it wasn’t enough.

Listowel Celtic also had a hattrick hero with Sean O’Mahony netting three. Jack Enright got two with Stefan Carrig and Cormac Dillon both scoring one each to secure the three points for the Hoops.

Fenit bounced back from their opening day defeat to win at home to LB Rovers. Dylan Ryan, David Dineen, Eddie McCarthy and Bobby O’Connor got the goals for the winners with Mikey Dunworth replying for Rovers.

U-13 PREMIER

The Park made it two wins from two in the Daly’s Supervalu U-13 Premier after defeating neighbours Dynamos 6-1. Colin Doody, Cianan Cooney, Adam Wharton, Messiah Chirwa, Sean O’Connor and David Feeley were all on the mark for the Park. Andy Rodgers, who had a very good game, got the Dynamos consolatio­n.

U-13 DIVISION 1

Iveragh United came to Ballyhar, who had won last week, and took the three points back to South Kerry. Sean Kennedy scored twice with Mikey Kavanagh and Breece O’Sullivan got one each in the win. James Horgan replied for the home side.

The points were shared between Castleisla­nd and Listowel Celtic B with Conor Wilkinson getting the goal for the home side.

U-13 DIVISION 2

Inter Kenmare looked to be cruising to an easy win over Killarney Athletic in Woodlawn as they led 3-0 at one stage. Goals from Adam Gull, Aidan Crowley and Jamie O’Regan saw the visitors in control. But credit to Athletic they fought hard and Cian Lynch pulled two back for the home side. However, as they tried to find an equaliser Tommy O’Sullivan wrapped up the win for Inter.

U-15 DIVISION 2

Rattoo Rovers followed on from their debut day win to make it two wins from two as they defeated St Bernard’s 2-0. Kevin Goulding got both with one from the penalty and the other a free kick,

Fenit bounced back from their opening day defeat with a win over Park C. Dara Heim and Conor Gaynor both scored two each with Neil Cassidy and Batt McCarthy getting one each.
