SKELLIG STARS

Skellig Stars Special Olympics Club, Cahirciveen are looking for volunteers to join our club. We are a voluntary group, registered with Special Olympics Ireland. Training sessions held each Thursday night during school term from 7-8pm in Colaiste na Sceilge. Sessions incorporate: basketball skills, relay races, obstacle courses and soccer. Throughout the year we participate in a number of competitions, run through Special Olympics Munster and other Special Olympics clubs in the county. FIRST AID COURSE

First aid including Paediatric 1st aid starting at O Connell Centre Tues. 27th Sept. 9.30am- 12.30pm for 8 weeks. Excellent knowledge/ skills to gain. SIVE 5K RUN

Sive Rowing club are holding a 5K run/walk, known as the Sive 5K. First male will receive the Padraig Dineen memorial cup and the first female will be presented with the Niamh O’Sullivan memorial cup. Starting at the boathouse on the pier at 11:00am on Saturday 1st October. Flat course. Entry fee €10.00. Refreshments after in Sive boathouse. Contact Padraig 087 2450610
