HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING

THe local fundraisin­g committee for Kerry Hospice would like to sincerely thank Pat Sheahan, Centra Foodstore, Glenbeigh for allowing them to hold the annual coffee morning in his store plus the use of his coffee / tea machine. The event was a great success and raised €1161-74. Thanks to all who donated on the day.

Every cent of this money (and all cash recieved by the fundraisin­g committee) will go towards the 15 bed unit which is presently being constructe­d at University Hospital Kerry. This unit will provide care for terminally ill and respite patients.

CEOLTOIRI NA NGLEANNA

(Glenbeigh Comhaltas) Enrolment night for junior and adult music classes and provisiona­lly for junior dancing ( number dependent ) will take place this Thursday evening September 29th in Tigh Beithe Community Centre at 7-30p.m. All Welcome. Junior Music Classes will start on Thursday 6th October and adult classes will start on Monday October 10th

DEATHS

Sympathy is extended to the relatives of the following who died recently, Joan Heffernan, ( nee Clifford ) Bunglash, Glencar who died in England. Irene Murphy, Farrenree, Cork and O Connors Park, Glenbeigh. Irene and her husband Anthony have holidayed in Glenbeigh for several years. May Joan and Irene rest in peace.
