ORDINATION SILVER JUBILEE

Congratulations to Fr. John Kerin of Scartaglin who is now Parish Priest in Tuosist who is celebrating the Silver Jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood. To celebrate the occasion, mass will be celebrated in St. Killian’s Church Lauragh on Friday evening, September 30th at 7 pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Parish Hall at Ardea Tuosist and everyone is welcome.

GAA LOTTO DRAW

Scartaglin GAA Club’s next Lotto Draw will be in Flemings Bar on this Sunday October 2nd when the Jackpot will be €6,400, get your tickets now for this big Jackpot.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation Day for Castleisland Parish next year will be on Thursday, March 30th when the Bishop of Kerry will administer the Sacrament commencing at 3.30 pm.

INDOOR MARKET

The Annual Indoor Market in aid of Kerry Parents and Friends Association will take place in Castleisland Community Centre on Friday October 7th. This is an important fundraiser for the association and all support will be greatly appreciated.

CANCER COLLECTION

The Irish Cancer Society will hold their annual church gate collection in Scartaglen on Sunday next October 2nd. Your support would be much appreciated.

SOCIAL AFTERNOON

Castleisland District Social Club will stage a Social Afternoon in Castleisland Daycare Centre on Sunday next October 2nd from 2-5pm. All are welcome.

HERITAGE CENTRE AGM

The AGM of Scartaglen Heritage Centre Committee will take place on Tuesday night next October 4th at 8pm. All involved are asked to attend.
