CURROW LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB: Pride of Place in the Club this week goes to our U12 Girls, after they had a great victory over Corca Dhaoine in the North Kerry Division 3 Trophy Final, played in Keel on Tuesday last Sept 27th. This was a very close Game in the first half with Corca Dhaoine leading 1-04 to 1-03. Our Girls put in a fantastic effort in the second half with goals from Aoife Roche(2), Emma Buckley and Julia Curtin and some fantastic Point Kicking saw us run out winners on a score of 5-08 to 5-03. The Currow Girls were coached by Margo Brosnan and Mikey Curtin. Our Senior Ladies finished off their County League Campaign with a 3-07 to 2-03 win over Annascaul/Castlegregory in Annascaul on Sunday Last Oct 2nd. This was a fantastic result for Currow as we fielded a very understrength Team with 5 Under 16 ‘s Playing, and it means we finished the Year top of the Division 4 League with 21 points ahead of Legion and Annascaul Castlegregory. We will now face Abbeydorney in the Division 4 Semi Final in Currow on Sunday next at 2.p.m. The Currow Team on Sunday was..
