Castlegregory and Tralee Celtic play score draw
DENNY DIVISION 1A Castlegregory Celtic 1 Tralee Celtic 1
THE only game played in this division was between two of the leading title contenders and predictably it ended in a draw. Stephen O’Sullivan scored for Tralee Celtic and Michael O’Dowd scored for Castlegregory.
DENNY DIVISION 1B AC Athletic 2 Classic FC 1
AC Athletic continue to set the pace in this division and they made it three wins on the trot after accounting for Classic FC 2-1 in the top of the table clash.
This was a close game all the way with Jason Wallace putting AC ahead. However, Classic equalised with a great free kick from Ryan Carroll and it looked as if the sides would have to settle for a share of the spoils.
But like they have done so many times in the past AC finished strongly and up popped Jason Wallace again in the final minute to score a dramatic winner.
Strand Road 4 Inter Kenmare B 0
STRAND Road picked up three points with a comfortable 4-0 win over Inter Kenmare B. Milos Arvic (2), Dan Kinsella and Wes Meehan scored for the Tralee side.
Sporting Listowel 4 Listowel Celtic B 0
SPORTING Listowel won the Fealeside derby with an impressive 4-1 win over Listowel Celtic B. Thomas McCarthy (2), Sean Gilbert and Brian Greaney scored for Sporting while Jo Jo Grimes scored for Celtic.
DENNY DIVISION 2 Lenamore Rovers 1 Tralee Celtic 3
IT is great to see Lenamore Rovers back in the KDL but it was a losing come back as they went down 3-1 to Tralee Bay FC. Moss Kenrick scored for the Ballylongford side while Jason Quirke (2) and Ian Flaherty scored for Tralee Bay.
CS Abbeydorney 7 Annascaul/Inch Utd 2
