KILLEENTIE­RNA YOUTH CLUB

On This Friday night Oct 7th there will be a normal Club Night in the Hall in Currow from 8.p.m to 10.p.m. All Secondary School going Teenagers from the Parish can Join the Club. Applicatio­n Forms will be available on the night.

SCHOOL MASS

Scoil Mhuire agus Naomh Treasa Beginning of Year School Mass on Friday October 7 at 11am in Currow Church. All welcome.

OLD CLOTHES

Collection of old clothes, handbags, bedlinen etc. can be handed into the school on Wednesday October 12 from 9.30am to 3pm.

FIRST FRIDAY

First Friday of October is next Friday: Mass in Currans church on Thursday at 7.30pm and in Currow church on Friday at 11am (School Mass). First Friday calls to the housebound on Thursday.

ROSARY AT THE GROTTO

For the month of October at 7pm each evening.

BLOOD DONOR CLINIC

The Irish Blood Transfusio­n Service will hold a Blood Donor clinic in The Brandon Hotel from October 3 to 6.

Monday (5-8.30pm), Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday (3pm5pm and 7pm-9pm).

BASKETBALL CLUB

Final registrati­on night on Friday October 7 at 8pm in Currow Community Centre – last chance to register this season.

SUICIDOLOG­Y CONFERENCE

ANNUAL MS WALK

“Old Kenmare road”, Sunday, October 9. Registrati­on €30 per person between 9am to 10am at the Gleneagle hotel. Buses leaving Gleneagle hotel car park 10am. Cards also available from John O’Shea at (087) 234 8824, or at the Franciscan friary office in Killarney. All welcome.

CURROW TIDY TOWNS

Currow gained three points in the Tidy Town’s competitio­n this year. Currow tidy towns committee would like to thank RSS, Tús, Kerry County Council and NEKWD for their ongoing support towards the maintenanc­e of our village. The committee would also like to thank everybody that helped both financiall­y and those who provided voluntary labour. The committee are currently discussing ideas for improvemen­t for 2017 if you have any suggestion­s please feel free to contact any member of the committee.
