The 14th Annual MS walk will take place on ‘Old Kenmare Road’, on Sunday 9th October.

KILLARNEY LIBRARY

Killarney Library will host a lecture entitled ‘A West Bank Story: Life under military occupation in Palestine’ by Killarney native John O’Shea on his experience­s as an Ecumenical Accompanie­r in Palestine. The lecture begins @ 6.30pm on Thursday October 13th and early arrival is advised.

U12:Killarney Celtic 3 Mastergeeh­a 5. In this exciting game the boys battled all the way and just edged ahead in the final quarter. Adam Murphy, Jack O’Donoghue, David O’Leary and Sean Doolan (2) were the scorers in a good team performanc­e.

U14 PREMIER: Park 6 Mastergeeh­a 0. In this game the boys played a good Park side. Down two at the break the more clinical Tralee side added further goals in the second half.

YOUTHS: Mastergeeh­a 2 Killarney Athletic 2. In this game the boys went ahead early on when James Nagle passed to Darren Looney to score. Mastergeeh­a then doubled their lead when Sean O’Leary scored. However just before the break the Killarney side scored two goals. In the second half Mastergeeh­a battled hard with both side creating chances.

SENIORS: Mastergeeh­a 3 Classic 0. Mastergeeh­a qualified for the next round of the Munster Cup with a good performanc­e at home on Sunday morning. Scott O’Mahoney, Gearoid Kerins and Damien Breen got the goals.
