A very important date Thrashing Cancer,in Brendan Ferris Farm,on October 9th, mid day, so much to do and see on that day, Gortnaskar­rie will be alive on that day, with a Tribute to Butty Sugrue, Tractors and trailers, food,homemade jams etc and the Minor Team will also be there with the Cup,so bring your camera and get your picture taken with the team. The Laune Rangers Qualifying Round of this year’s Scór na nÓg will be held on Thursday 13th October in the Intermedia­te School, Killorglin.

The competitio­ns are: Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrument­al Music Group, Ballad Group, Recitation, Set Dancing and Quiz.

Competitor­s must be U17 years on 1st January 2017.
