BIRTH

Congratula­tions to Aine nee Bruader and Seamus Fitzgerald of Granafulla on the recent birth of their baby son James a brother for Luke. God bless the new arrival.

MARRIAGE

Fr John Kerin P.P. Tousist officiated at the marriage of Aine daughter of John and Noreen O’ Connell of Spunkane and Ian O’ Donovan of Carrigalin­e in St Finians Church on Saturday September 24th.

Aine’s sister Siobhan Murrary was her chief bridesmaid with her sister Noreen Hanrahan, Brid and Niamh were bridesmaid­s. Philip Spillane was best man with Groomsmen Aaron Twohig, Mark Nolan and Conor Murphy. Nieces Aoife Murrary and Ella Hanrahan were the pretty Flower girls with page boys Sean Neary and Hugh Hanrahan. Music was by Michelle O’ Brien and Ruth O’ Shea, Veronica and Michael Lynch. The reception was held in Sneem Hotel and the newleyweds will live in Carrigalin­e where we wish them a long and happy life together.

DEATHS

Patrick Curran of Kealafreha­ne Mastergeed­y died peacefully in St Joseph’s Nursing Home Kenmare. His remains were removed from Fitzgerald Funeral Home to Our Lady Of The Valley Church Killeenlei­gh and he was laid to rest in St Finians Cemetery after 11 a.m. Mass. Sincere sympathy to his niece Mary Clifford and his nephews.

Patrick (Paddy) O’ Sullivan of Killagurte­en, London and Tarmons died peacefully in St Joseph’s Nursing Home Kenmare. His remains were removed from Fitzgerald Funeral Home to St. Finian’s Church on Sunday evening and he was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery after 11.a.m. Mass celebrated by Fr Gerard Finucane P.P. and Fr Padraig Sugrue of Cahercivee­n and late of the Philipines on Monday. Marion O’ Neill sang at Mass. Pre- deceased by his son Christophe­r and brother Sean. Paddy is survived by his wife Bridie nee O’ Shea son Anthony his wife Linda and their daughter Katie brother Donal nieces relatives neighbours and friends to whom we offer our sincere sympathy.
