WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations and all best wishes are extended to the following who were married recently: Liam McSweeney, son of Sheila and Owen McSweeney of Scartaglin and Lisa Ring, daughter of Anne and Maurice Ring of Midleton Co. Cork who were married in Midleton Church. Liam and Lisa held their reception in the Garryvoe Hotel. They will reside in Castlemartyr Co. Cork.

Congrats and best wishes also are extended to Mary Horgan, daughter of Breda and Patsy Horgan of Goulane Carker and Patrick Kissane of Crosstown, Glenflesk who were married on in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Scartaglin. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Rev Fr. Sean Horgan. Mary and Patrick held their reception in Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee and they will reside in Headford.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

If you are celebrating a special or significant wedding anniversary then you might like to go along to Castleisland Parish Church on Saturday October 22nd, where a special Wedding Anniversaries Mass will be celebrated at 6.15pm that evening. Anyone who would like to attend this Mass should contact the Parish Office (066) 7141241 and give in their names.

BOOT CAMP

Do you want to improve your fitness and nutrition and strengthen your muscles and upper body, then Linda Kennedy is the woman to see. Linda is running a boot camp in the Heritage Centre in Scartaglin on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7.30pm to 8.30pm each night. The fee per session is €7. RAMBLING HOUSE

The next Rambling House session in Scartaglen Heritage Centre will be on Monday night October 10th at 9pm. Admission as always is free, refreshments and raffle on the night. All are welcome.

INDOOR MARKET

The Kerry Parents and Friends Association will hold their annual Indoor Market in Castleisland Community Centre on this Friday night October 7th commencing at 8pm. All support would be greatly appreciated.

AFTERNOON OF PRAYER

Janice and Moss Carrig will be present at an Afternoon of Prayer in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Scartaglen on Sunday October 16th commencing at 2.30pm with The Rosary. Everyone welcome.

YOUTH CLUB REGISTRATION

There will be registration for Scartaglen Youth Club for the coming season in The Heritage Centre on this Friday night October 7th at 8pm. Please note a parent must accompany each child at the registration.
