DNG Ted Healy Auctioneers Killarney celebrate 10 years in business.
THE doors to DNG Ted Healy first opened back in 2006, and it’s a day Ted remembers very well. “We spent a considerable amount of time renovating our new offices at 11 New Street to marry both the existing business of James P Healy Insurances and the new estate agency business. It was a proud day when we first opened, particularly for my late father Jim, who was very excited by the new venture,’ said Ted.
According to Ted, the market, and indeed the world, was a very different place back then but having opened at the peak of the market things took time to establish themselves in Killarney. Not long after opening, the market collapsed and the challenge became even greater. But having come through what is widely regarded as the toughest cycle the Irish property market has witnessed, ten-years later DNG Ted Healy are at the forefront of the property market in Killarney, as Ted explains:

Ted is a member of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (IAVI) since 2002 and until their merger with The Society of Chartered Surveys (SCS) in 2011.
Ted is now a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and was elected an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) back in 2012. In December 2015, Ted was granted the honour of being accepted to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as a Registered Valuer. Ted also holds diplomas and certificates in Auctioneering, Valuation and Estate Agency from The Dublin Institute of Technology.
