Both Karina Griffin and Sarah O’Brien, have qualified to play in the ILGU Junior Medal which will be played at Seapoint Golf Club on Wednesday 2nd November. The top 60 Junior Girls in Ireland are eligible to qualify to compete in this final. These consist of the top 50 returning the lowest aggregate of 3 nett scores for any stroke or stableford rounds recorded on Golf net (one per month during June, July and August) and the top Junior girls who have reduced their handicap by the most shots during the period of March 1st to August 1st.

Lady Captain Mary O’Rourke would like to thank all who supported her Charity Day held recently. A total of 2,740 euros was raised which will be shared between two Charities, Recovery Haven, Tralee, and Friends of the Coombe Hospital, Dublin.

KIllarney Golf and Fishing Club, Ladies Branch, welcomed Kerry Lady Captain’s and Vice Captains 2016, to a lunch and outing on Mahony’s point on Monday October 10. Fifteen Kerry Clubs participated in the outing and the weather played its part in making this day a most enjoyable one for all of the players.
