Under 15

THE qualifiers are now only one round from the last 32 and at the weekend five of the six Kerry sides progressed, showing the high standards there are at this age group.

Killorglin were involved in the toughest battle and needed extra time to get past Caherdavin.

Stephen O’Loughlin scored in normal times to leave the sides level at 1 all. In extra time the same player got the winner for Killorglin.

Killarney Celtic travelled to Abbeyfeale and won 4-1. The Hoops goals came from Emmet Finnan, James Darmody, Jack O’Connor and Ruairí Doyle. Listowel Celtic were another Kerry side that had a good win on the road. They were in Limerick and defeated Fairview Rangers 2-0 thanks to goals from Conor Hogan and Darragh Lynch.

Ballyhar got no challenge from Regional United B at Murt Scott Park and are through thanks to goals from Craig Boyle, Conor Henderson, Dylan Callaghan, Josh McCarthy, Jason Brennan, Patrick O’Connor and Danny Cronin.

Tralee Dynamos had a good away win in a hard fought game against Shannon Town. They were 3-2 down at half time but dominated the second period to win 6-3. Sean Kennedy and Leo Gaxha have to fight over the match ball as both scored hat tricks.

Unfortunately Camp Juniors went out going down 3-0 to Regional United.
