MARRIAGE

Fr Gerard Finucane P.P. officiated at the marriage of Marie daughter of Joe and Julie O’ Connor of Toorsaleen and Eoin son of Sean and Karen O’ Leary of Garrygloss in Our Lady Of The Valley Church Killeenleigh on Friday September 23rd.

Karen O’ Shea was Maid Of Honour with Bridesmaids Michelle O’ Shea Aoife Mc Donald and Niamh Fitzgerald. Kevin O’ Leary was Best Man with Groomsmen Brian O’ Leary, Denis O’ Shea and Dylan O’ Leary. Ella O’ Leary and Lucy O’ Connor were the pretty Flower Girls and Nathan O’ Leary Page Boy. Music was by Selena O’ Connell. Reception was held in the Killarney Heights and the newly-weds will live in Garrygloss where we wish then a long and happy life together.

SILVER JUBILEE

Congratulations to Fr John Kerin P.P. Tousists and former P.P. Dromod 2007-2015 who celebrated the Silver Jubilee of his ordination to the Priesthood on Friday 30th September. A represenatation from our parish attended the Jubilee Mass in St. Kilian’s Church Lauragh celebrated by Fr John and presided over by Bishop Ray Browne.

Dromod Guild resumed its Winter Schedule with Mass in the Day Centre on Monday October 3rd at 8 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Gerard Finucane P.P. followed by a delicious supper. Helen outlined plans for the coming months starting with a “31” card game on Friday October 14th 8 p.m. in the Centre. Raffle winners were Noreen Hogan Rose and Helen O’ Sullivan.
