TMS youth bringing Joseph to life

TRALEE Musical Society will bring their latest production to the stage this week.

The multi award winning society’s youth members are bring the Youth Edition of Joseph and the Mazing Technicolo­ur Dreamcoat to Siamsa Tíre for four nights from tonight, Wednesday October 12 to Saturday October 15. It is the first time TMS – who this year are cel3bratin­g their 30th anniversar­y – have staged an all youth production.

“This is a new venture for Tralee Musical Society, as we have never produced a show solely by our younger members before,” said PRO Suzan O’Gara.

“It was a decision made as part of our 30th anniversar­y year celebratio­ns, to celebrate all of our newer, younger members and we can’t wait to share the incredible talent they have with the audiences of Tralee,” Suzan said.

“It is a mind-blowing musical, extremely vibrant, colourful, funny and energetic and really shouldn’t be missed,”she said.

It is the second of three shows TMS are staging this year.

The first was The Beautiful Game which earned rave reviews last April.

The third show is a 30th anniversar­y special ‘Salute to the Musicals’ which will be staged in Siamsa Tíre from November 15 to 17.

A limited number of tickets for Joseph are still available from the Siamsa Tíre box office.
