Glenbeigh’s Baby, toddler and parent group is held every Thursday morning at 9.30 in Tigh Beithe Community Centre (behind church). All welcome from babies up to pre-school age.

(Glenbeigh Comhaltas Branch) Our AGM is on this Wednesday evening, October 26, at 8.30 p.m. at Tigh Beithe. We are having a Comhaltas fundraiser music session on Saturday, November 12, in Peadar’s Bar. Music classes continue weekly at Tigh Beithe with adults Mondays 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and juniors on Thursdays 3.30 to 5.30 p.m.

SCHOOLS’ COMPETITION
Glenbeigh NS’s unbeaten run in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol 4/5 teacher schools’ competition came to an end when they met an excellent Aghatubrid NS team in the quarterfinal last week. Aghatubrid NS, who reached the county final last year dominated in most areas and were deserving winners on the day. Glenbeigh NS now qualify for the semifinal of the shield competition, where they will take on Castleisland district winners, Currow NS.
