Fossa have too much for brave Duagh side

IN the opening final the 6/8 teacher encounter a repeat of last year’s pairing between Duagh and Fossa, it was the Killarney school that produced the match winning performance with some excellent performances from Cian Doyle, Robert Brooks and Sam Buckley in defence. Seán Dineen at midfield and forwards Darren Ryan, Harry Kelly and sharpshooter Pádraig Lyons were all in inspiring form.

Duagh got off to an excellent start playing into the wind but failed to convert their chances. The Fossa players were much more economical when in attack and registered the match winning scores while win assisted. Top marksmen were Harry Kelly with 2-0 and Patrick Lyons with six points.

Duagh staged a second half come back and landed good scores.

Points from Jack O’Keeffe and Cormac Dillion and a well struck goal from Darragh O’Keeffe. They had top performances from Mark Joy, Jack O’Sullivan, Eli Fitzgerald and Jack O’Keeffe along with scorers mentioned.
