Historic win for Kilmoyley in Munster IHC semi-final
LAST Sunday was another historic day for Kerry hurling as Kilmoyley became only the second Kerry side to qualify for the final of the Munster Intermediate Hurling championship. At the Gaelic Grounds they defeated the Limerick intermediate champions, Monaleen, by 4-12 to 0-13.
They will face Lismore (Waterford) in the final on the weekend of November 20. Lismore is the home club of the Shanahan brothers, Dan and Maurice, as well as former county players Ray Barry and Paudie Prendergast.

INTER-COUNTY
The draws have been made by the Leinster Council GAA for the round robin series of their 2017 senior hurling championship which involves Kerry, Meath, Westmeath and Laois. Kerry’s first two games will be away to Meath and Westmeath respectively. Kerry will just have one home game, in round 3 against Laois. Exact dates, times and venues to be confirmed.
CLUBS
The North Kerry Hurling Board annual Awards take place at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Friday, November 18.
Clubs are now planning their annual general meetings with some this month: Tralee Parnells on Friday, November 18 at the Kerins O’Rahilly’s clubhouse at 9pm; Abbeydorney on Sunday, November 20 at 2pm in The Complex; Lixnaw on Friday, November 25 in their clubrooms at 8pm.
