- By FERGUS DENNEHY

KIND-HEARTED students from the IT Tralee have proven they can ‘talk the talk’ and later this month, they will be proving that they can ‘walk the walk’ aswell when they take to the stage in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel for a fundraising fashion show in aid of the Saint Vincent De Paul (SVP) charity.

After two previous successful years, members of the IT Tralee SVP Society have been busy these last few weeks putting the final finishing touches on this years show, which will take place on Thursday, November 17 at 7:30pm, and which will be in aid of the various Christmas hampers and meals, which will be delivered to individual s and struggling families on Christmas day.

All the clothes that will be modelled on the night will be straight out of numerous St Vincent de Paul shops, while a pop-up shop available on the night will be selling some of the latest SVP accessories, including many of the clothes that will be modelled on the night aswell.

One of Tralee’s most fashionable socialites and go-to-style icons in Orlagh Winters, will be handling the emcee duties for the night, which will begin with a drinks reception, while a raffle, full to the brim of fantastic spot prizes donated by local businesses from around town, will be taking place during the interval.

Tickets will cost just €5 and can be bought on the door on the night, from the IT Tralee itself, the St Vincent de Paul shop on Castle Street and Friary Lane or by calling 087-4696098.
