CASTLEISLAND go two points clear at the top of the table after a very comfortable win over Killarney Celtic B. Jonathan Downey stole the show for the winners with a hat trick while Danny Feehan and Sean Og O Ciardubhain also scored for the islanders. Vladimer Sirotiak was the Celtic scorer.
Ballymac Galaxy 1 Camp United 4
Camp United look like they could be title contenders in this division as they are churning out some great wins in recent weeks. They were too strong for Ballymac Galaxy in this game and won with plenty to spare.
Genie Farrell showed he still has the Midas touch for scoring goals by bagging two, one from the penalty spot while Fintan Herlihy and Robbie O’Brien completed the scoring for the West Kerry side.
Castlegregory Celtic 2 Ballyhar Dynamos 1
Castlegregory’s unbeaten run continued after a hard earned win over Ballyhar Dynamos which moves them to second place on the league table. They had to come from behind to win it as Ballyhar went ahead in the first half with a goal from Padraig O’Mahony. However the West Kerry side dug deep and goals from Brandon Hoare and Kevin Power was enough to claim the three points.
CSKA Tralee 1 Mastergeeha 1
In a good competitive tie honours ended even with Tommy O’Sullivan scoring for Mastergeeha. Cian Daly scored for CSKA.
DENNY DIVISION 2 Ballyheigue Athletic 0 Abhainn Li 6
Abhainn Li hit Ballyheigue with six of the best and won the game in surprisingly easy fashion. The man of the match for the winners was Conor O’Callaghan who scored a great hat trick and Armstrong Flazy, Kyle Bustard and Dylan Bourke also scored for the Tralee side.
Castlemaine United B 2 Windmill United B 2
This game ended in stalemate with Jason McCoy and Paudie Murphy scoring for Windmill while Luke Flynn and Kieran O’Carroll were on the mark for Castlemaine.
CSCB 1 Annascaul Inch United 3
An Eoghan O’Donnell hat trick was sufficient to win the game for Annascaul/Inch. Thomas O’Connor was the CSCB scorer.
CS Abbeydorney 0 Clanmaurice FC 1
This was a big game in the title race and Clanmaurice remain perched at the top of the table 6 points clear of the chasing posse after a crucial win over neighbours CS Abbeydorney. It a cliff hanger of a game a Keith Carmody goal was enough to win the game for the North Kerry side.
The Clanmaurice goalkeeper Chris Meehan proved to be the hero of the game for the winners making a superb penalty save at a vital stage of the game.
