-

OAKVIEW Village Childcare (OVC) was established in 2008 to provide Tralee and the surrounding area with the highest standard of care and education delivered by a team of highly qualified and experienced staff in a state of the art facility.

In addition to caring for infants, pre-school and primary school children to the highest possible standards, they have also provided for the enhanced services of a Naíonra since 2011. In March 2016 they launched the Early Years Support Centre (EYSC), offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Play Therapy, Music Therapy and Psychotherapy. This is an extremely exciting local business that is constantly committed to finding new ways to instil innovative ideas. On top of the many services it prides itself on, it employs 15 people and also offers training programmes for future Early Years educators.

Innovation is at the forefront of absolutely all actions and activities at OVC from its initial conceptualisation in 2006 to its establishment in 2008 to the current business operations, and its overall aim is to offer families a holistic approach to their child’s care, learning and development.

The team at OVC strongly believe that the innovations they have implemented have been of tremendous benefit to children, families, staff, students and wider community, and they recognise the need for innovative practice in business. OVC feel they are a positive role model in the Early Years sector and will continue to do so in the years to come.
