The Aqua Dome

-

AS success stories go, few have been as rewarding a venture as the Aqua Dome, Tralee. This is an amenity which has not only rescued many a summer’s day for weather weary tourists, but equally it serves as a fantastic all year round public amenity for recreation and fitness pursuits. As one of Ireland’s largest indoor Waterworlds and premier tourist attractions, the Aqua Dome offers a more holistic approach to fun and relaxation for everyone.

Mags O’Sullivan is the lady at the helm and she is keen to oversee a positive atmosphere among staff with motivation, appreciation, gratitude and respect being qualities tourists can expect to find at Tralee Aqua Dome. The building itself is breathtakingly impressive and its 7 days a week, 12 months of the year aspect sets it apart from some of its competitors.

For the past 22-years the Aqua Dome has catered for over 4 million visitors which has ultimately contributed in a positive way to the spinoff in the wider local economy. For over two decades now a commitment to excellence has remained strong at Tralee Aqua Dome and it is constantly looking for new ways to improve the part it plays in Tralee and Kerry’s tourism trade. From a community perspective, it also partners with local schools and colleges providing work experience and field trips for students of all ages and abilities. The Aqua Dome also sponsors local fundraisers and assists with various charity events whenever possible.
