Killarney Pharmacy… just the tonic for customers

-

EXPERIENCE accounts for a great deal in business and when it comes to customers’ needs and requirements, Aine and Padraig O’Connor of Killarney Pharmacy know a thing or two about what it takes to own a successful pharmacy. People in Killorglin will already know Aine and Padraig from where they also own Laune Pharmacy, and the latter is very much a template on which the new Killarney pharmacy operates, adding a wide range of products with a friendly, customer focused attention to detail in the heart of Killarney town.

Killarney Pharmacy – located at Scotts Street, East Avenue Road, next to Killarney GP – opened its doors this summer and it has already established a strong customer base for itself. The official opening of the pharmacy takes place on Saturday, November 26th at 2pm when Michael Healy-Rae will cut the ribbon and you’re all invited to come along where customers will be entered into an hourly draw for a cosmetic hamper worth €250; free makeovers by appointment, free chiropodist advice, free face painting, free goodie bags, and 20% off all Christmas stock, make-up and fragrances will be a feature of the opening day.

Killarney Pharmacy dispenses prescriptions under all schemes, including medical card and private prescriptions. The pharmacy stocks a wide range of products from make-up and skincare, including products from San Soucis, Art Deco’s Misslyn, Clarins, Botancia, and many more leading brands. The range of products have also been extended to include fascinators, handbags, jewellery and with Christmas just around the corner some great gift ideas and offers are now available in store where gift hampers can be tailor-made to suit customer requests.

The pharmacy appreciates its customers and engages with them by running various competitions and prize giveaways throughout the year and you can check out their latest offers by visiting their Facebook Page. Killarney Pharmacy can even boast of its own access to an underground carpark on Scotts Street, adding further to the customer’s overall sense of comfort and convenience.

Together with Aine and Padraig, Grainne Moloney is the supervising pharmacist at Killarney Pharmacy and the staff there are always friendly and ready to help with customer queries. Grainne has worked in Killarney for many years and looks forward to meeting customers, old and new. Grainne, Mary and staff are always friendly and they also offer free blister packing service to patients who find it difficult to manage their medicines.

Killarney Pharmacy also stock a wide range of supplements like, Revive Active, Solgar, Sona, Udo’s Choice, and also stock a wide range of natural alternatives and essential oils. Chiropodist, Michelle, also visits the pharmacy once a week to see patients by appointment and you can phone Killarney Pharmacy for further details on 064 6638603.

“Aine and I wish to thank the people of Killarney for their valued support and we look forward to their continued custom in the future. We will be having our official opening on Saturday, November 26th when TD Michael Healy-Rae will be performing the honours and we warmly invite you to come along for the occasion,” said Padraig O’Connor.
