RACE NIGHT: Our clubs annual fundraising Race Night is scheduled for Saturday-December 10th in The Plough Bar, Milltown- Fundraising has long been an important activity for GAA Clubs. As our club continues to develop facilities and provide opportunities for Gaelic Games to be played in our local community, there are ever increasing demands on club finances. As you may be aware the club is in the continuous process of modernising the facilities at the Paddy Burke Memorial Park, Milltown. Our Gaa Club caters for twelve teams at various grades, as well as facilitating the Primary and Secondary schools and the Milltown/Listry Ladies Football Club. In August, Milltown Castlemaine GAA Club ran a very successful Stars of the Future Camp, with over 85 children attending. To continue to offer these facilities and further develop them, we are embarking on a major fundraiser- A Video Horse Racenite.
