Fenit Samphires ended Killarney Athletic’s unbeaten league record with a dramatic victory at Mountahwk Park on Sunday a win which takes them 3 points clear at the top of the table. It looked as if the game was going to end scoreless as it entered the concluding stages but as the old saying goes the show is never over till the fat lady sings and Sean Ryan grabbed a crucial 90th minute winner for the seasiders.

Rattoo Rovers 3 Tralee Dynamos 3

In a good contest in Ballyduff the sides could not be separated with Mikey Boyle (2) and Martin O’Connor scoring for Rattoo Rovers. Danny Roche (2) and John Farragher got the Dynamos goals.

DENNY PREMIER B Ballymac Galaxy 0 Classic FC 3

After a stuttering start to the season Classic got back on track with a good win over Ballymac Galaxy. Max Mugabe, David Courtney and Shane Fitzgerald, scored for the winners.

DENNY DIVISION 1A Asdee Rovers 3 Castlegreg­ory 1

Asdee Rovers brought Castlegreg­ory’s unbeaten record to an abrupt end at Craughdarr­ig Park with a great victory over the West Kerry side. Asdee showed great team spirit from the very outset and went ahead with a fine strike from Thomas Pierse. They doubled their lead before the break when Joseph O’Brien scored after a corner kick. Castlegreg­ory did pull one back with a Damien Finn goal but Asdee made sure of victory with another Thomas Pierse goal. The Asdee keeper Owen Tydings made a few great saves at vital stages of the game.

CG Killarney 1 Mitchels Avenue 2

Mitchels Avenue go five points clear at the top of the table after accounting for CG Killarney on Sunday in a tight game. They had to come from behind to win this one as Joe O’Donovan put CG ahead. However David Hennessy levelled things from the penalty spot and Chris O’Sullivan fired home the winner in the second half.

Killarney Celtic B 3 CSKA Tralee 2

Killarney Celic took the spoils with Corey Doyle, Donagh Barry and Denis Sheahan scoring for the winners. David Rusk and Mike Griffin scored for CSKA

DENNY DIVISION 1B Ballymac Celtic 1 Windmill United 5

Windmill United narrowed the gap on the leading title contenders in this division with a big win over Ballymac Celtic. The star of the show for the winners was Gary Savage who bagged a hat trick while Tommy O’Connor and Paudie Bailey also found the net for the winners. Lasmin Gheorghe scored for Ballymac.
