The death occurred during the week of Dan Daly, Cordal, late of Bawnaglann­a, Currow. Deepest sympathy is extended to his family, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Ballymacel­ligott Parish celebrates the 150th anniversar­y of Ballymacth­omas NS and the 50th anniversar­y of Flemby NS on Saturday, Nov 26 in Flemby NS from 2-4pm and afterwards at the Vigil Mass in Clogher Church at 7.30pm.

BALLYMAC BAZAAR

The Ballymac Bazaar will take place on Sunday, Nov 27 from 6-10pm and Monday, Nov 28 from 7.30-11pm in St Brendan’s Community Centre, Ballydwyer.

YOUNG PRIESTS SOCIETY

ST JOSEPH’S YOUNG PRIESTS SOCIETY annual collection will be taken up next weekend, Nov 27 & 28. Envelopes will be handed out this weekend. Our purpose is to promote vocations to the priesthood by prayer, financial help and the witness of our Christian living.

CONCERT

Castleisla­nd parish will host a concert featuing Liam Lawton in Castleisla­nd Parish Church on Monday evening, Dec 5. This concert is a fundraiser for Brosna parish which has a substantia­l parish debt arising out of workds done on the Parish church some time ago. Tickets €20 are on sale at Killeentie­rmna parish office.
