Garvey’s SuperValu is getting into the festive swing…

GARVEY’S SuperValu plays an active role in the community offering value, choice and comfort while also supporting many local charities and sporting organisations when it can.

Garvey’s SuperValu in Listowel appreciates the part its customers play in the overall success of the store where things are getting a little busy right now in the run up to Christmas. Paul O’Connor is Manager of Garvey’s SuperValu in Listowel and as they look to get the festive season off to a flyer, Paul explains what customers should look out for: “On Thursday, December 1st from 6pm to 9pm we will have our annual Food Fair. This is a popular event as many local producers will be here to talk about their produce and we will also have food tastings and raffles. It really gets the season off to a flyer and we’ll even have the man himself here: Santa. Then on Friday, December 9th we will have a special wine tasting evening in store with wine expert, Jean Smullen, and Jean will be on hand to offer advice on the best wines for your table this Christmas.

“We place a huge emphasis on fresh food all year round and Christmas is perhaps the one time of year when people expect that bit extra in terms of quality when it comes to the likes of turkey, ham, vegetables and smoked salmon.

We also have an Off License that stocks a wide selection of items and our customers can expect the very best right here under one roof. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers for their business throughout the year and to wish them a very happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.”
