CHRISTMAS PARTY

Ballinskelligs Community Christmas Party will be held on Friday Dec 9th. Mass in Hall at 7.00pm will be followed by a buffet supper and afterwards we will dance the night away!

50/50 CLUB DRAW

St Michael’s Foilmore are delighted to announce our new fundraising initiative for the Club and would greatly appreciate your support.

We are establishing a 50/50 Lotto. Yearly tickets will be on offer for €100 and 6 months for €50. (This will ensure you have a ticket in each week’s draw) Regular €2 or 3 for €5 tickets will be on sale every week also.

The 50/50 draw will work in that if for example €200 worth of tickets is sold every week, €100 goes to the Club and €100 to a name drawn from the drum. There will be one winner each week.

Please contact any club officer for further information. We are also planning a launch night where you can learn more about the Draw (date to be confirmed). Remember if you’re not in you can’t win.

MUSIC AND SONG

There will be an evening of Christmas music and song in St Michael’s Church, Dungeagan on Sunday December 11th at 7.30pm. This will feature Marina Cassidy, Gavin Ring, Nicola Mulligan Ring and of course our own Church Choir. The Beautician will be in Ballinskelligs Community Centre on Thursday the 1st of December.

SURVEY

Comhchoiste Ghaeltacht Uíbh Ráthaigh is undertaking some research at present in relation to the population and the current socioeconomic status of this area. The results of this research will be used by us to make the best cases possible to attract further funding to this area, and it will also form an integral part of the seven-year Irish Language Plan for the area which we are currently working on. We would be really grateful if you would take 10 minutes to complete this survey, which will assist us hugely in achieving these objectives. Only one survey per person please, but as many people as possible from each household completing the survey will be very helpful.
