KILLEENTIERNA YOUTH CLUB

On Saturday last November 26th, 72 Club Members travelled to Limerick for some shopping at the Cresent Shopping Centre followed by the Munster Pro 12 Rugby game against Treviso in Thomond Park. It was a fabulous day out for all, and was all the better because Munster had a great win on the day. Leaders Sarah O’Connor, Erin O’Connor, Lorna O’Shea and Moss Leane were in charge on the day.

On Friday next Dec 2nd there will be a normal Youth Club Night in Currow hall from 8.p.m to 10.p.m

DEATH

The death occurred recently of Pat Clifford, RIP, Chicago, USA and late of Kilsarcon, Currow.

Deepest sympathy is extended to his family in Chicago, to his brothers and sisters in Kerry. May his eternal soul rest in peace.

KILLEENTIERNA XMAS PARTY

The Killeentierna Parish Pastoral Council Christmas Party for senior citizens and friends takes place in the Killarney Oaks Hotel on Sunday, December 11. €25 per person.

CONCERT

Castleisland parish will host a concert featuing Liam Lawton in Castleisland Parish Church on Monday evening, Dec 5. This concert is a fundraiser for Brosna parish which has a substantial parish debt arising out of workds done on the Parish church some time ago. Tickets €20 are on sale at Killeentiermna parish office.

STRICTLY COME DANCING

DOWN SYNDROME KERRY will be hosting Strictly Come Dancing on Friday, Dec 2 in the INEC, Killarney. Doors open 7.30pm and show starts 8pm. Tickets can be purchased at INEC box office 064 6671555 or phone Ann Marie on 087 6344829.

The 6th Moss Keane Memorial Golf Challenge and Parish Open championship is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Dec 31, The venue is Killorglin Golf Club and tee reserved from 10am to 11.30am. You can enter by texting your name to 087 2389995 before Nov 30.
