COMHALTAS NEWS

Glenflesk Comhaltas will hold the annual Christmas Concert on December 16th at 8pm in St. Agatha’s Community Centre. This is always a great night of music song and dance. It is also an opportunit­y for beginners to take to the stage. Refreshmen­ts will be served. All welcome.

BARRADUFF TIDY VILLAGE

This Christmas Barraduff village will have a memory tree in place. The Memory tree is placed outside Barraduff church. The Memory hearts are for sale in O Donoghues cost cutter Barraduff or by calling 087 6676813. €5.00 per heart, & all proceeds to Barraduff Tidy Village Group. We found that when writing your name or message on the heart, red permanent marker works best. The Memory Tree is our special way to remember the beautiful souls who are no longer with us. GOLF BALL RACE

The first ever Glenflesk GAA golf ball race will take place in Barraduff on St Stephens Day 2016 at 1pm. Contact any Glenflesk senior player to buy a ball for 5 euro or three for 10 euro and if your ball reaches the bottom of the old school hill first you can win some great prizes!
