Piano (vamping) 5 week introductory course to start in the New Year. Limited spaces - this first session will be aimed at 4th6th class. COMMUNITY GAMES
Thank you to all who supported our recent church gate collection in Cromane and Killorglin . A total of €615 was collected. Thank you also to those who gave of their time and did the collection. It could not have happened without you.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
At DeJaVous, Charity Shop, Iveragh Rd. On December 10th, and you are all invited to attend. That’s on Saturday from 2.00 pm on. Now,the good news, there’s going to be T./Coffee, Sandwiches and lots,lots more. A big Ho,Ho, Ho man is going to be there and also the Ladies Choir. This time last year, people were delighted with the reception they got, you may also buy anything that takes our eye, great bargains at this place, C.U all there !
KILLORGLIN AFC PITCH
Local Councillor Michael Cahill has welcomed a Grant Aid of 30,000 euro for the access road to Killorglin AFC. The funding includes a Grant of 24,000 from the Department of Arts, Heritage,Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs under the CLAR Programme and a contribution of €6,000 from Kerry County Council. Councillar Cahill said he is delighted with the funding as it will bring the road leading to Killorglin soccer pitch up to a very high standard .

Wish Birdie OSullivan, Gurrane West,a very Happy Birthday. Birdie is a lovely lady and a loyal member of the above club, so have a wonderful day and Birdie is joining with all of us for our Christmas Peary on December 16th at The Manor Inn, Iveragh Rd. With her Auntie Noreen Lyons. We hope to have a new Chairperson and Co, at this time of year. Three years is the limit for each top position so who will be next Chairperson?
KILLORGLIN BOWLERS
Were invited by Glenbeigh Bowlers to Lunch at Kate Kearneys Cottage on Thursday ,December 1st.. twenty members attended. Our choice of food was only fantastic,dinner finishing with Christmas Brandy Custard Pudding. Delicious.
Glenbeigh Bill thanked all for attending and wished us all a Happy Christmas, his bowler buddy raised his glass and hopes to see all of us next Thursday at GAA Hall in Glenbeigh for Bowls. Photos were taken outside Kate’s to mark the occasion. Thank you Glenbeigh for a wonderful day.
GLEN ASHE
Councillor Michael Cahill has welcomed the commencement of Waterorks in Glen Ashe Housing Estate ,Killorglin. The Fianna Fáil Councillor said he had lobbied for those areas to be carried out secured €20,000 from Irish Water earlier this year. The residents of Glen Ashe experienced numerous outages and breakages over the past five to six years. I am delighted that work on the replacement of the water mains has finally commenced stated the local Councillor.
