‘BRING a little Christmas Home from Ballyseedy Home and Garden Centre’ is the message this festive season froma Kerry’s most popular garden retreat. Santa will be doing his rounds in store every weekend between now and the big day, handing out special treats to kids where you can also have your picture taken with the man himself, free of charge.

There’s also a Christmas Shop to keep you busy browsing through the wide range of decoration­s on offer. And if it’s a little festive flavour you’re after, then you won’t be disappoint­ed as Ballyseedy Home and Garden Centre now have a wide selection of tasty foods for you to choose from. Nathan McDonald chats to us about what visitors can expect in the countdown to Christmas:

“We’ve got a lot of Food Hampers in stock this year with a large selection of quality festive foods available. We also have our own brand and range of products in stock like chutneys, relishes and sauces which are proving very popular with customers. Our ‘Creperie’ is also running right through December and we’ll be doing our delicious breakfast crepes every weekend and savoury crepes in the afternoon from our new kitchen here at Ballyseedy.

“In terms of decoration­s, we’ve a very stylish range to choose from this year; decoration­s that blend contempora­ry with traditiona­l design and our stunning pre-lit wreaths and garlands are proving popular. We also have a wide range of artificial Christmas trees in stock with a new style called ‘Feel Real’ which looks and feels like a real tree.

“Santa is also in store and we’ve set up a special festive fireplace area where people can take their own pictures with Santa. Santa will be roaming the store every weekend handing out treats to kids, all free of charge, which is important.”
