CHILDCARE CENTRE

The management and staff of Scartaglen Childcare Centre would like to wish all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. The creche will re-open on Wednesday January 4th 2017 and after-school will re-open on Monday January 9th.

MOBILE LIBRARY

Anyone wishing to borrow books for Christmas reading are reminded that the mobile library will make its final visit for 2016 to Scartaglin on this Thursday December 22nd from 9.30 am to 10am. This service is free of charge.

CHRISTMAS LOTTO DRAW

Scartaglin GAA Club’s Christmas Lotto Draw will take place in Flemings Bar on Friday night, December 30th, when the Jackpot will be €7,200. As is usual there will be a few extra prizes on the night.

GOAL MILE

The annual GOAL Mile at An Riocht Athletic Grounds, Castleisland will take place on Christmas morning Sunday next December 25th from 10.30am - 12.30pm. You can walk, run or jog and everyone is welcome.

SAMARITANS COLLECTION

The annual collection in aid of The Kerry Samaritan Service will be taken up at masses throughout the county on this Saturday and Sunday December 24th and 25th. Your generous support would be greatly appreciated.

CHRISTMAS MASSES

Times of masses for Christmas in the 3 churches in the parish are as follows: Scartaglen : Christmas Eve, Saturday December 24th at 8pm. Christmas Day mass at the usual time of 10.30am. Cordal: Christmas Eve mass at 10pm. Christmas Day mass at 9.30am. Castleisland: Christmas Eve, mass at 7pm and 9pm. Christmas Day mass at 11.30am.
