CHRISTMAS SWIMS

Well done to all the swimmers who hit the water at the annual Christmas Day swim in Derrynane. Donations go to The Alzheimer’s society and Derrynane Inshore Rescue.Thanks to all who supported and donated . Also well done to the swimmers who took part in the St Stephens Day swim in The White Strand in memory of Daniel Murphy and Marguerite O’ Connor . Refreshments were provided by the Galvin family .

GAA NIGHT

A medal presentation was held in Riney’s Bar to honour the victorious Sneem/Derrynane team who won the county Novice shield and the Munster Jounior B Championship .The medals were handed out by Pat Spillane who was Guest of honor on the night .It was a very successful year on the field of play as they also won promotion to Division 4 of the county league.
